IR Blog Post 1-NY times Fashion and Style

Tip, Tip, Tip

3 Facts:
1. D.S.H. stands for Designated Scissors Holder.
2. Tips should be generally 15 to 20 percent for hairstylists and from $2 to $5 for shampooers.
3. Sometimes being honest to people who annoy you could be the best choice.

2 Questions:
1. Why is it so expensive to do hair? Is it really worth that much money?
2. Would these tips really work for most of the times?

1 Opinion:
I agree to tipping the hair stylists 15-20% but if the service is not great, I'm not sure if I want to be spending that much money on my hair.

  1. This article actually sounds pretty interesting. It is true that although it is generous to leave a tip when someone does a service for you, if you do not believe they did a good job, leaving a smaller tip or not one at all would be the way to show it.

  2. I agree, I always try to leave a nice tip whether I am getting my hair done or out to lunch. Sometimes I feel like waitresses and hairstylest are underapperciated, therefore I always try to leave a nice tip, unless they do a bad job.
